    Data driven
    redesign of the
    podcast page
    on juke web
JUKE aims to increase both the activation ratio and the retention
of the podcasts next quarter. Insights show that new features need
to be added to the podcast page and it is important to perform a good
UX analysis on the current user flow of podcasts.

Our research shows that only 20% of our users on the podcast
detail page scroll down and activate on one of the podcast episodes.
By activation I mean that a user plays a podcast episode.
This is an important insight because users above the scroll only see
    one podcast episode at most.

Below the scroll users will find three podcast episodes.
If they want to listen to the other episodes, they can use the button
'show more' to reach them. This means that a user has to open
another page to load the episodes.

In the new design users can activate above the scroll and all
episodes (per season) will be loaded on the page. In addition
they can add the podcast and podcast episodes to their favourites.
With this we hope to increase the retention of podcast listening.
By offering tags and related content we expect to increase both
the activation ratio and listening time. We add descriptions per
episode as research shows that this can be a trigger for users
to listen to an episode. A trailer will be added (if available) so that
users can easily listen to the podcast if they like it.
